A TEENAGER has been sentenced to 18 months detention in a young offender institution for raiding cannabis plants from a house in Shipley.
Marcus Zacardelli, 19, of Southfield Lane, Great Horton, Bradford, pleaded guilty to breaking into the rented property, in Low Ash Road, on March 6 and making off with the Class B drugs.
Prosecutor Simon Haring said today that one the gang, although not the defendant, threatened a neighbour with what appeared to be a gun.
Zacardelli was caught when he cut himself in the house and left blood at the scene.
Bradford Crown Court heard that the following month, Zacardelli was sentenced to three and a half years youth custody after admitting separate offences of burglary with intent, burglary and theft.
Judge Peter Benson said the new sentence would run concurrently with the existing term of detention.
