FIREFIGHTERS had to be called out to a Wetherspoons pub after two frying ranges caught fire in the kitchens.
Crews from Bingley and Shipley fire stations were called to the Myrtle Grove pub in Main Street, Bingley, at around 7.45am today.
The frying ranges had caught alight as staff were preparing breakfasts.
The staff had tried to put out the flames using fire blankets, but when this didn't work, they called in the fire service.
Bingley fire station watch commander Sam Blackburn said two firefighters donned breathing apparatus before putting out the flames with a hose reel.
A staff member said the pub was today open and serving drinks, but not food.
