A KEIGHLEY man guilty of drunken behaviour in a nightclub has been given a conditional discharge, but will have to pay £250 in costs.
Police called to a disturbance at Skipton's Kooky Nightclub at 4am on July 18 found Blaize Foskett, 19, drunk and being restrained by a member of the public, Skipton magistrates heard today.
He was arrested after he continued to behave violently and refused to quieten down.
A suggestion that he had been involved in an assault was not proceeded with, the court was told.
Foskett, of Prior Street, who admitted being drunk and disorderly, said he believed his drinks had been spiked.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 criminal court costs, £85 prosecution costs and a £15 surcharge.
