ETHAN Bull has got the best excuse ever to get muddy tomorrow.
The sporty pupil at Stocks Lane Primary School, who lives in Petrel Close, Clayton Heights, is taking part in the Tough Mudder's Mini Mudder one-mile long obstacle course at Broughton Hall, near Skipton.
Ethan, who is eight and whose mum Samantha is an adult outpatients sister at St Luke's Hospital, Bradford, has raised more than £100 so far in aid of Bradford Teaching Hospital's Forget Me Not Dementia Fund - and hopes to raise lots more.
Danielle Woods, lead nurse for dementia at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “A huge thanks to Ethan as his fundraising efforts will go towards supporting and enhancing our environments for people and carers living with dementia.
"Those little extras really do make our hospital wards and departments more engaging and relaxing places to be for patients whose condition can leave them feeling anxious or agitated when visiting unfamiliar surroundings. I think Ethan has shown great character by choosing our charity."
