A 33-YEAR-OLD man who pulled his partner's hair and squeezed her throat has been sentenced to four months imprisonment.
Mohammed Razaque, of Durham Road, Girlington, Bradford, pleaded guilty to two offences of common assault on April 15.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that Razaque's victim was Katie Joy, who was pregnant with his child at the time.
Razaque, who was held in custody after his arrest, was sentenced on a video link from Leeds Prison.
Prosecutor Imran Khan said Razaque had a previous conviction for battery on another woman.
Judge Robert Bartfield made a restraining order banning him from contacting Miss Joy for 12 months.
