CITY are in negotiations with former QPR chairman Gianni Paladini about a possible takeover.

Mark Lawn this afternoon confirmed that talks have begun with the 69-year-old Italian, the former agent of Benito Carbone.

Lawn told the T&A: "We have signed a confidentiality undertaking and we are talking to him."

Paladini had registered a company Bradford City Holdings at Company House in February but that is not connected with the club.

He has been looking to get back into football since resigning from Loftus Road in August 2011. Paladini has tried to get involved with Nottingham Forest and Birmingham - and set up a similar company when talking to Brum.
