Our venue for the Schools Awards is the Aagrah's Midpoint Suite at Thornbury, not just a major outlet for this award-winning curry empire, but a major jewel in Bradford's business crown as well.
The Midpoint Suite has served as the venue for the T&A's Bradford Means Business Awards over the past four years.
The £4 million venture was opened six years ago and was the brainchild of Aagrah Group chairman Mohammed Sabir and managing director Mohammed Aslam.
The state-of-the-art conference, exhibition and banqueting centre is set in 1.6 acres in the Gallagher Leisure Park on the border of Leeds and Bradford.
The striking and elegant development incorporates Aagrah's Pudsey restaurant, which has relocated, and accommodates up to 275 diners.
The Aagrah's famous mascot, Lulu the elephant, stands sentinel in front of the building.
The Midpoint Suite spells a new direction for the group, with banqueting and conference facilities for up to 450 banqueting and 700 theatre-style.
