Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker
DOUBLE BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker will perform songs of love and loss to Saltaire’s Caroline Street Club on March 29.
They met in July 2009 and together they have resolutely forged their own path through traditional music.
In 2013, their debut release Fire and Fortune reached No1 on the Amazon folk chart within three months and brought them BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominations for Best Newcomers and Best Duo last year. Their new album is titled Nothing Can Bring Back the Hour.
