BUS services had to be diverted after a crash between two vehicles in Bradford.
A blue Volkswagen Golf and a white van were involved in what appeared to be a head-on collision on Bolton Road after 6pm.
The collision meant the road was blocked and several bus services were forced to take an alternative route on Canal Road until the scene was cleared by emergency services.
The circumstances of the crash remained unclear but motorists had been warned to take extra care when driving because a strike by firefighters meant the West Yorkshire brigade's availability to help at road crash scenes would be curtailed. Firefighters were not needed at Bolton Road.
