VACANT floors in a city centre mill have been earmarked as a possible conference area and cafe.
Heaton-based Map Estates has applied for permission to carry out the work on the first and second floor of Eastwood Works on Eastwood Street in Bradford.
The company wants to create a lounge, conference area, food preparation area and cafe, creating three jobs. The application seeks permission to open from 8am until 11pm. Although the ground floor is occupied, the first and second floors of the 19th century mill have not been used since 2008.
