AN EXCITING time in Bradford's history is set to be brought to life with a special event spotlighting the year 1851 - as the city hit the heights of industrial prosperity.
Bradford Historical and Antiquarian Society, along with Bradford Family History Society and Bradford Local Studies Library, has organised a day school focusing on the year.
It will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Bradford Club in Piece Hall Yard.
The £20 cost includes lunch, local and family history displays and four speakers. To book, contact David Glass at 281 Poplar Grove, Bradford BD7 4HU.
