A HAIRDRESSER from Wibsey is learning from the best in the business after winning the chance to work under professionals from a world-famous brand.
Chloe Streets has secured a place on the prestigious Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team (YAT) after being put through her paces during an intense judging process in London.
Top names in the industry assessed the 21-year-old on her live cutting and styling work, presentation skills and potential for team work.
Now, Chloe, who works at Cross & Co Hairdressing in Saltaire, will spend a year working with stylists and technicians from the renowned company and will get a chance to take part in photoshoots and stage presentations.
She said: "I love to learn and I love training so I really can’t wait to work with the big names in the industry this year and better myself as a hairdresser."
One of the judges, Andy Smith, said: "I was inspired by some of the competitors. Their work was amazing and their passion just shone through. We have definitely put together a super strong team and I can’t wait to work with them in their upcoming year."
