TWENTY new jobs have been created at a new bargain store in Bradford.

Bargain Buys, which opens at 10am tomorrow at the Forster Square retail park, is a new venture from the father and son duo behind Yorkshire-based retail giant Poundworld .

As part of opening celebrations, Bargain Buys is teaming up with local community-based charity One In A Million.

Volunteers and staff will be raising money to help fund eight centres across the city that provide weekly football, indoor athletics, dance, educational and creative arts programmes.

Chris Edwards Junior, Bargain Buys’ trading director, said: “We’re thrilled to be unveiling our new Bargain Buys brand to savvy shoppers in Bradford. As a family-run business, it’s our passion to search for and deliver the best bargains available to our customers. We strive to offer a fantastic shopping experience and we hope the new store is a popular new addition to Forster Square.”

The Bradford store is the 26th Bargain Buys to open in Britain. and there are plans to open 20 more stores in the next six months.
