OAKWELL Hall ranger Patrick Crowley will be teaching people how to turn a natural material into a living structure at a willow workshop next month.
The day long session will involve harvesting willow from the Birstall country park’s own stock before building arbours around benches in the gardens and a willow screen around benches by the wildlife pond.
The workshop takes place on Saturday, February 7, from 10am-3pm, and costs £25 per person.
