BREWING will start in Bradford city centre today for the first time in 60 years.
The Bradford Brewery starts making its first ales this morning, 18 months after plans started being worked on.
The brewery will initially make 16,000 pints a week and an onsite pub, The Brewfactory, is expected to open early next month.
It is the first time beer has been produced in the city centre since Hammonds Bradford Brewery closed in 1955.
The new venture is in the former Shaw’s Moisture Meters headquarters.
