Fire at Manningham house sparked by water leaking into light fitting
FIRE crews from Fairweather Green and Shipley were called to a house in Manningham after water leaked into a light fitting.
Water from the first floor property's bathroom in Victor Street leaked into the electrical circuit.
This caused a light fitting in the kitchen on the ground floor below to set on fire.
Fire crews isolated the electrical unit at the fuse box.
The crews attended the incident at around 7.15pm on New Year's Eve.
No-one was injured in the incident.
