A BRADFORD plastics factory is going from "strength to strength", according to a local MP.
Bradford East MP David Ward paid a visit to RPC Containers Ltd in West Bowling, which makes plastic containers for the food packaging industry.
Mr Ward (pictured with staff) has pledged to learn more about the UK's £20 billion plastics industry, as part of his role on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Manufacturing.
The Lib Dem MP said: "It was really good to visit RPC Containers and see for myself a Bradford manufacturing company that is not merely surviving but going from strength to strength.
"Not only is it important to support local companies, but the improving economy will encourage companies like RPC Containers to invest more in local jobs and local people.
"If the economy in Bradford is to continue to improve then we need companies already situated in Bradford to continue to grow so I was very pleased to see some of this on my recent visit."
