PLANS for ten homes on an overgrown site in Shipley have been approved.
The site, on Westfield Lane, will now be converted into homes. The decision to grant planning permission was given by members of Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeals Committee yesterday.
Access to the development is via a narrow roadway which leads from All Alone Road, close to its junction with Westfield Lane, into the site.
The access passes a small number of existing dwellings, before passing through a pair of gates into the site.
Only eight letters of objection were raised on the scheme, including the affect the development would have on local highways and residents’ access.
