MATT Holborn brings his youthful Django-style Gypsy Jazz Quartet to Bingley Jazz Club at York Street Sports and Social Club tonight.
The jazz violinist is making his name as an inventive exponent of the instrument across the UK and Europe, evoking memories of the famous French jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and guitarist Django Reinhardt.
The quartet, which has been playing together since they met at Leeds College of Music four years ago. also includes guitarist Ben Mallen, bass Simon Read and rhythm guitarist Ben Danzig. The events starts at 8pm.
