A CAR went out of control and wrecked a traffic light pole in the centre of Bradford this evening before the occupants got out and fled.
The incident happened around 6pm on Hall Ings when a Renault Laguna hit the pole, knocking the light box from the top, sending it crashing to the pavement.
Police confirmed two male occupants had emerged from the car and were last reported heading in the direction of the Bradford Hotel.
The car was recovered and police are continuing enquiries to try to trace the occupants.
