A SAFER project warning communities to be on their guard for scams and frauds has reached more than 4,300 older people in the Bradford and Leeds area and 1,100 professionals.
Over the past two years the community protection and empowerment programme has provided residents with the knowledge to protect themselves against doorstep crime and scams.
A day earlier this month was organised to mark its success which has also seen more than £215,000 of debt been written off.
