A BINGLEY landlord is treating customers to a specially-commissioned ale to mark the 500th different beer served up since he took over the pub.
Andy Boggett took over the running of Off The Tap in April 2012, and has since put on a wide variety of real ales from all over the country, from the Orkneys to Cornwall.
To mark the 500th, Naylor's Brewery in Cross Hills, Keighley, brewed two casks of a 4.6 per cent Amber Bitter called 'OTT 500', a tipple which has already proved a hit with the pub's regulars.
"People are looking for variety and a good range of beers, and we aim to keep our choice of ales fresh and different," said Mr Boggett.
"We keep track of which ones appeal most to customers, and we are already on to the second cask of 'OTT 500', it has been very popular so far."
