BRACKEN Bank residents are being invited to help paint the estate's Sue Belcher Community Centre on Tuesday.
Organisers are also looking for a local artist to design a sign for the gable end of the building on Bracken Bank Avenue.
Community worker Pip Gibson said: "The community centre hasn't had a lick of paint since 2011 and is in dire need of it.
“This will bring the community together, all ages and abilities, and we'll have a celebratory barbecue once the job is complete."
Anyone wishing to help should turn up the day, between 9am and 4pm, with old clothing and preferably a brush or roller.
