DETECTIVES are stepping up the hunt for a getaway car used in a gunpoint robbery in which about £50,000 was stolen.
Two men were confronted by a five-strong gang in Buck Street, off Leeds Road, at about 2.30pm on Monday.
One of the attackers used a handgun to threaten the victims. He then assaulted one of the men.
The gang escaped in a black Honda Civic. They were all Asian, two of them had beards. The public has been warned not to approach them.
Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of Bradford District CID, said: "We continue to appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with information, particularly anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of the car."
They should contact Bradford District CID on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
