Politicians and senior community leaders will be among a panel of experts when a debate about the US base at Menwith Hill takes place.
The debate, which will be structured in the style of the TV show Question Time, will take place at Otley Civic Cen-tre at 7.30pm on Friday, February 2.
Councillor John Eveleigh, Menwith Hill Forum Chairman and Otley Town Council Leader, said the meeting, which will be independently chaired by Dr Max Farrar of Leeds Metropolitan University, would be the first of its kind.
