Fire crews from Cleckheaton and Batley fought a shed fire that spread to a house in Ealand Road, Wilton Estate, Birstall, at 2.15am yesterday.
The brick shed was badly damaged in the fire that ignited the back door of the property.
A bedroom window was smashed in the heat.
A spokesman for Batley Fire Service said the blaze was being treated as suspected arson.
