The spending of £130,000 grant cash by 48 Keighley groups is being monitored by Keighley Voluntary Services. KVS, the support agency for Keighley's community and voluntary groups, has taken on a finance assistant to oversee the programme. June Walsh, who is experienced with community accounting, will support groups while ensuring cash is spent as intended and that proper records are kept. The money was distributed through the Bradford Vision strategic partnership in a bid to improve services in the most deprived areas of Keighley.
