Foster parents are wanted to prevent more children being removed from the people and places they know and love.
Kirklees Council is appealing particularly for foster carers for children aged five-plus and for groups of siblings.
Last year, the Council received 307 fostering enquiries and approved 15 families in Kirklees as a result of its Space in your life, space in your home' campaign.
But a Council spokesman said: "There are still children being fostered out of Kirklees - separating them from their friends and familiar people and places."
