Flames from a suspicious caravan fire cracked the windows of two houses and brought down a telephone wire.
Firefighters were called to the blazing caravan parked in a driveway of a house in Tintern Avenue, on the Lower Grange estate, Bradford, in the early hours of yesterday.
Gas was escaping from a butane cylinder at the front of the caravan and firemen from Fairweather Green had to hose it down to cool it off.
A fire service spokesman said arson was suspected and police have been informed.
