An investigation has been launched after a suspected arson attack on a disused mill building.
Firefighters had to battle against heavy winds to get the blaze under control at the former Wask Foundry site in Woodhouse Road, Keighley.
The alarm was raised when smoke started to pour out of one of the disused buildings on the complex.
Two pumps from Keighley and one from Bingley struggled to get near enough to the two-storey building because of concrete security bollards blocking their way.
Because the access was blocked off to vehicles we had to use lots of hose pipe to get to it which made it difficult,'' said a firefighter.
Crews used large jets and breathing apparatus to get the fire under control and managed to stop is spreading to nearby buildings.
A fire spokesman said Thursday's blaze, which broke out just before 7.30pm, is being treated as suspicious and the police will be investigating.
