Two people were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting in Bradford as part of a continued crackdown by police on illegal activity within the city centre.
Officers arrested a19 year-old man at Marks and Spencer on Darley Street on Friday. He was charged and remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
A 35-year-old woman was caught shoplifting from Asda Living at Forster Square and issued with a fixed penalty notice.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Shoplifting continues to be a priority for the City Neighbourhood Team and we will continue to work closely with businesses to tackle the problem."
