A Kirklees scheme has been commended for diverting drug offenders into treatment and away from crime.
The Kirklees Drug Interventions Programme team includes police officers, drugs workers and probation officers, and was set up in 2004.
Manager Jackie Bray has been commended for her determination, excellent leadership and commitment to delivering a quality service, with a West Yorkshire Police commendation.
She said: "Kirklees DIP has made a considerable impact on crime across the area since it was set up. I am proud and honoured to have received this award, and I wish to thank Kirklees DIP staff. I believe this is in recognition of all the team's hard work."
