A town's former mayor has resigned form her role as town councillor to move to Spain.
Margaret Spence has stepped down from Skipton town council, where she has served since 2001.
She has moved to Spain with her husband, Norman, a Craven businessman.
She was the town's mayor in 2005/06 and raised £4,057 for her chosen charity, the NSPCC.
