Keighley MP Ann Cryer has been re-elected to the Labour Party's parliamentary committee.
She polled 156 votes in Tuesday's ballot, in which all Labour backbenchers were eligible to vote. The turn-out was 94.4 per cent.
Mrs Cryer, one of six from 12 candidates elected to the committee, was first appointed to the body 18 months ago.
Her role involves conveying backbenchers' opinions and concerns to the Government.
"The comments are not always very flattering but it is a fascinating job," she said. "I have really enjoyed it and am delighted to have been re-elected."
