Motorcyclist deaths on roads in part of the region have been slashed to their lowest level in five years.
North Yorkshire Police, who cover the Skipton area, say the force-wide reduction from 21 in 2005 to 13 last year is "spectacular".
The success has been credited to tough enforcement, extra patrols and a policy to fast-track speeding offenders through the courts to strip them of their licences.
