Steve McNamara will stamp his own mark on the Bulls' class of 2007.

Having taken over from Brian Noble mid-season, the Bulls boss found himself playing with someone else's hand last year.

McNamara had to see out the remainder of Super League XI with the players left at his disposal.

Noble was in charge for six years and the team had been built in his mould but now his successor is enjoying creating his own brand.

After doing his homework before pinning faith in new recruits Glenn Morrison, David Solomona, Michael Platt, Chris Feather and James Evans, McNamara has begun the process of evolving his own squad.

He has made the big decisions in letting certain players go while appointing his own captain in Paul Deacon but he acknowledges it might never be his team entirely.

"When you inherit a side you aren't inheriting a blank piece of paper," he said. "It's the nature of the game; you've got players in contract, out of contract, some signed up for three or four years, others with six months to go.

"It won't be probably until years down the track before it's ever actually wholly your side but in terms of this year we have got a great bunch of players and it's all in my hands now completely.

"It does feel like my team with the people we've brought in and we're just excited at bringing it all together on the pitch."

The Bulls' new home shirt goes on sale at Grattan Stadium tomorrow morning from 9am.
