Operators of a smart travel scheme hope a campaign starting in Bradford next week will be just the ticket.
Getting hold of MCards will be easier as they become available through Payzone outlets. In a bid to make sure they have the public’s attention, organisers are using “zombies” (pictured).
Scenes in a film and advertising drive will include a rogue zombie who is using his ‘dead handy’ MCard across West Yorkshire’s bus and rail network.
MCards will be available from Payzone’s 700-plus stores, making it handy for travellers to get their weekly and monthly passes.
MCard is a joint venture between bus and rail operators and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority who are working together to introduce smart multi-operator and multi-modal travel throughout the region.
Details about MCard are available on http://www.m-card.co.uk.
