The developer behind Bradford’s new shopping centre is staying tight-lipped about which new high-street names might be signing up for it.
A leaflet produced to encourage businesses to invest in The Xchange, the new name for the lower floors of Arndale House opposite the Westfield site, includes a map of the under-construction Broadway shopping centre.
The plan shows confirmed stores for the Westfield development including Next, Marks and Spencer, Debenhams and WH Smith, but also units under offer. Those include Boots, which has been announced by Westfield as a tenant, Costa, H&M, Pizza Express and Wagamamma.
When asked about the additional stores named in the leaflet, a Westfield spokesman said: Leading retailer Boots recently signed up to the scheme, along with Burger King, KFC and Hey Potato, which have agreed to take space in the centre’s food court.
“We are experiencing strong retailer demand from brands wanting to join the major UK retailers including Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, Next, River Island, Top Shop and Top Man.”
