Police have warned charity thieves that they “will be dealt with” after three men were arrested after stealing clothes from a charity bank in Little Horton.
Police had been called after reports of men rummaging through the bank on Saturday, and received cautions for theft.
Sergeant David Hirst said: “Thanks to a call from a member of public, we were able to quickly arrest the individuals and retain the property, which will be returned to the charity.
“To steal from a charity donation box, clothing or otherwise, is not acceptable and anyone caught doing so will be dealt with appropriately.”
