Three members of a Bradford family, who were accused of attempting to murder a neighbour, had their case adjourned today.
Mother, Fazilat Nawaz, 63, and her son and daughter, Nadeem Nawaz, 25, both of Ringwood Road, Canterbury, Bradford, and Shazmeen Nawaz, 32, of Chelwood Drive, Lower Grange, Bradford, had all jointly faced a charge of attempting to murder Mohammed Shah.
A seven-day trial had been due to start at Bradford Crown Court today but, after out of court discussions between the prosecution and defence lawyers, the case was adjourned until tomorrow.
The incident occurred on September 30 last year at Ringwood Road.
Mr Shah suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack and underwent surgery at Leeds General Infirmary.
He was found to have 13 stab wounds to his body after being found slumped in his kitchen with blood pouring from his injuries.
