Police are still hunting a male driver who rammed a woman’s car into the path of a lorry when he jumped red traffic lights in Bradford last July.
In the aftermath of the accident, the West Yorkshire Police helicopter was scrambled to search for the driver who fled from the scene of the crash on Whitehall Road, Wyke, leaving student nurse Hayley Morris, with extensive injuries.
But the man, who featured on the Crimestoppers’ wanted website for several weeks, is yet to be found.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were still searching for the culprit but had not made any arrests.
Witnesses to the accident on July 27, 2013, are asked to call police on 101.
On Saturday, the Telegraph & Argus reported how Miss Morris, 29, had to learn to walk again and is now raising money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance which she credits for saving her life by airlifting her to hospital.
