Establishing a 24-hour minicab office in Lidget Green, Bradford, would have had “significant adverse impacts” on its neighbours, council officers have decided.

Nasar Khan had applied for permission to turn the ground floor of 52B Rugby Place into a private vehicle hire office and install an aerial on the building.

But planning officers at Bradford Council have refused the application, saying it will result “in significant adverse impacts upon residential amenity due to the general activities associated with the use, including vehicle movements, operation of radios and potential congregation of people within and outside the property within a mainly residential area.”
