Bradford primary school Miriam Lord has been awarded the Gold Standard from the Learning Quality Framework after a two-day inspection.
The honour comes just a year after the school, in Bavaria Place, Manningham, was awarded the Silver Standard, and makes the school one of only four in the country to achieved the level.
Staff believe that the Gold Standard reflects the school’s attitude to learning – pupils learn 17 behaviours such as reasoning, questioning and revising.
Headteacher Bryan Harrison said: “To have our work recognised on a national level is a great achievement for everyone connected with the school.”
