Tour de France group gets in gear for January
The next meeting of a group formed to stir up enthusiasm in the Tour de France will take place in Oxenhope next month.
Worth the Tour has announced that the gathering will take place at Daedalian, in Brooks Meeting Mill, Shaw Lane.
The event, which is open to all who are interested in helping to celebrate next July’s Grand Depart, will start at 7pm on Monday, January 13. This month’s Worth the Tour meeting included discussion of plans for a cycling-themed film festival and the likely impact of the Grand Depart on local public transport.
