A man has been charged in relation to diesel theft after being found with garden hoses and six large plastic drums at a haulage firm in Bradford.
The 34-year-old, of Wyke, was held by PCSOs who spotted him at P.Bromley & Sons, Huddersfield Road, Low Moor.
He was arrested shortly afterwards by police and later charged with going equipped to steal.
The arrest came after an increase in overnight thefts of diesel from the firm’s trucks.
PCSOs at the Tong and Wyke neighbourhood policing team counteracted the problem by carrying out regular patrols at the company’s premises.
The man will appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court in the near future.
