About 40 learners celebrated the completion of a learning and employability programme run by Bradford social housing group Incommunities.
They have completed nationally-accredited courses in horticulture, basic English and English for speakers of other languages and received their certificates at the Midland Hotel, Bradford.
Their training has been delivered in partnership with Incommunities’ SWAN Programme, which provides free skills and wellbeing courses on the Canterbury, Thorpe Edge, Allerton and Lower Grange estates to help people improve their lives and employability, and Shipley College.
Also attending the awards were eight young people who completed an intensive five-week construction skills course to help them find work in the sector.
