A second politician has put his name forward to fight to be Labour candidate for the Keighley seat at the next general election.
Yorkshire born Henri Murison, 29, lives in Addingham and already has experience in politics after a role on the cabinet at Newcastle City Council.
Currently working in financial services, he has recently been involved in a campaign for businesses in Keighley and Ilkley to adopt a living wage for their staff.
Mr Murison hopes to be chosen as Labour candidate and wrest the seat from Conservative Kris Hopkins.
He said: “I’m proud to have been born in Yorkshire and I’ll always live in the constituency.
“I will be a real leader to get things done in the community. I’ll always spend more time in the constituency than in Parliament.”
The party will make its decision on a candidate in late November.
