Swooning fans were kept waiting three hours at Bombay Stores in Bradford to meet and greet heart-throb male model Omar Borkan Al Gala – one of three men deported from Saudi Arabia for being too handsome.
The 23-year-old’s story of how he was reportedly banished from a cultural festival after religious police deemed him too sexy, captured headline across the world and turned him into a global online superstar with more than 1.3m Facebook fans.
The Bradford fans were rewarded for their patience when the one-man publicity machine turned up in his trademark Arabian headdress sending hearts pounding.
He gave out hugs, autographs and posed for pictures before heading off to his next date.
