A volunteer-run rail museum in the district is on track for more TV stardom.
Carriages from the Ingrow Museum of Rail Travel will appear in a major new BBC drama. They were used during filming on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for Peaky Blinders, a six-part gangster drama set in Birmingham in the post-First World War period.
The programme is due to be screened on BBC2 from next month.
It is the latest in a long list of filming credits for the rail museum, which is owned by the Vintage Carriages Trust.
Earlier this year, BBC political programme This Week was presented from one of its carriages – in Buckinghamshire – and the second series of Cranford featured its steam loco Bellerophon, which was shot at the Foxfield Railway in Staffordshire.
