It might look like the scene at a university as students celebrate getting their degrees, but these Bradford youngsters dressed up in caps and gowns to mark their graduation from primary school.
Year six students at Crossley Hall Primary School in Fairweather Green were watched by their proud parents during a red carpet celebration, like a university degree ceremony, which saw each pupil receive a Certificate of Graduation.
The school held the event for the first time this week and gave each child a year book containing photographs, memories and greetings from their time at the school.
Head teacher Michael Thorp said: “We planned this very special event to commemorate and celebrate each child’s journey through primary school.”
